Abstract
The presentation will introduce the current status of my ongoing data collection that started in August 2013 and ends in November 2014. Firstly, in order to understand the larger frame of my project that is embedded in the ReSource project, I shall briefly sketch the ReSource project with its design (the timeline of the three different kinds of mental trainings the participants undergo, and - very shortly – the various measures used in this multi-method longitudinal study). Then I will explain the design of the present first-person-approach (including the sample size and related interviews, technical support, guidelines for the questions in the interview depending on the specific meditation module, etc.). My main focus will be on the challenge of analyzing the data between and within subjects. I will present a first idea of how to categorize the rich data in the transcripts. Additionally, I will summarize difficulties I encountered while conducting the interviews as well as in the current stage of analyzing the transcripts. As an outlook, I will finally sketch some possibilities of combining these 1PP-data with the 3PP-data gathered in the ReSource Project.
