Abstract
The influence of the spin alignment on the band splitting in bilayer correlated systems is studied. In the normal state the splitting occurs to be large or small depending on the relative orientation of staggered spins of the layers. The change of the ground-state spin configuration with doping is shown. The behaviour of the bilayer splitting in Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+delta is consistent with the same alignment of staggered spins in the normal state but does not reject a possible transformation of spin configuration in the course of the superconducting transition.
