Abstract

Der Europäische Gerichtshof betreibt eine aktivistische, integrationsfreundliche Rechtsprechung.
Die hohen Konsenserfordernisse für die Veränderung von Richtlinien und europäischen Verträgen
durch die Mitgliedstaaten eröffnen dem Gericht Spielräume, die europäische Integration an
der Politik vorbei zu vertiefen. Martin Höpner klärt die Grundlagen der bemerkenswert großen
Macht der Luxemburger Richter.
