Abstract
Die aus Blättern von Solanum chacoense isolierten Leptine sind Glykoside eines x-Acetoxy-solanidins. Unter Abspaltung des Acetylrestes gehen sie in die Leptinine über, die sich als Glykoside eines x-Hydroxy-solanidins (Leptinidins) erweisen. Die hohe Wirksamkeit der Leptine als Resistenzfaktoren gegenüber dem Kartoffelkäfer und dessen Larven geht bei Abspaltung der Acetylreste verloren. Leptinin I gibt bei der Hydrolyse 1 Mol. Glucose + 2 Moll. Rhamnose, während aus Leptinin II 1 Mol. Glucose + 1 Mol. Rhamnose + 1 Mol. Galaktose erhalten werden.
