要旨

Capitalist dynamics is energized in part by imaginaries of future states of the world (Beckert 2016). The paper deals with two questions: Why do fictional expectations change in the course of capitalist development? And: Are fictional expectations becoming more important in contemporary capitalism?

Kapitalistische Dynamik wird auch von Vorstellungen zukünftiger Zustände der Welt vorangetrieben (Beckert 2016). Der Artikel behandelt zwei Fragen: Wie lässt sich die Veränderung fiktionaler Erwartungen innerhalb der Entwicklung des modernen Kapitalismus verstehen? Und: Kommt es im Verlauf kapitalistischer Entwicklung zu einer Bedeutungszunahme fiktionaler Erwartungen?
