Abstract
Utilising the results of the theory of double-resonator dye lasers a novel TEA N2 laser-pumped quenched dye laser arrangement is presented. By the use of two quenched lasers in cascade 12-15 ps pulses are obtained. The main advantage of this system is its simplicity and reliability.
