要旨
Recently, it has been suggested that individual behavior in social interactions is aided by special cognitive processes (e.g. shared intentions, shared task representations) or cognitive states ('we' mode). The origin of these joint representations is poorly understood. Here I show that visual action recognition processes exhibit response properties akin to joint representations. I therefore suggest that joint representations might be - at least partly – rooted in well known social cognitive processes, such as action recognition.
