Zusammenfassung
Virtual Reality has proven to be a useful tool to investigate many aspects of body ownership. In my research group we use virtual reality to investigate space perception of the surrounding visual environment, size perception of self-representations and objects and finally to further investigate the phenomena of experiencing another body as one's own. In this talk I will present the benefits of virtual reality as a research tool for investigating perception, as well as the results from several on-going scientific projects that investigate body perception.
