Abstract
A positive contrast approach using an echo-dephased SPGR sequence is presented to visualize the paramagnetic markers mounted on a guide wire. The method is proven to be insensitive to unwanted field inhomogeneities and fat signal contamination. The performance of the technique is found to be superior to existing slice select dephasing method.
