Abstract
We propose positive contrast imaging of the passive (paramagnetic) markers mounted on a guidewire using spatial-spectral (SPSP) pulses. The SPSP was adopted in a standard GRE sequence. Additional FATSAT pulse was necessary to suppress fat signal contamination. The technique was applied in vitro to demonstrate the effectiveness of the marker detection.
