Abstract

A key to tadpoles occurring in a Central Amazon rainforest is presented. Identification is facilitated
by drawings of the mouth parts and the dorsal, lateral and ventral aspects of each species. Colour descriptions and life history notes are included to assist identification in the field. The ecological characteristics
of the tadpole community are discussed.
