Abstract
Gonographis minuscula n.sp. and G. duodecimlobata n.sp. are described, and Araguayadesmus
cochlearius SCHUBART, 1947, a species hitherto known solely from Pará, is recorded, from material
deriving from a nonflooded upland secondary forest (= capoeira) in the vicinity of Manaus. Besides,
Adenomeropus HOFFMAN, 1966, a monobasic genus from Guyana, is formally synonymized under
Araguayadesmus SCHUBART, 1947 (syn. n.), and Adenomeropus fitzgeraldi HOFFMAN, 1966, is
formally real located within Araguayadesmus (comb. n.).
