Abstract
Hydrophytes of four reservoirs in Thailand (Bung Borapet, Ubol Ratana Reservoir, Phumipol Reservoir, Udorn Fisheries Station) are described. The greatest number of species was found in Bung Borapet, the oldest of the reservoirs. In three of the four reservoirs, hydrophytes create serious problems to traffic, fisheries, lotos plantations or hydro-electric installations. Control measures of the fisheries authorities, and their effects, are mentioned.
