Abstract

A generalisation of the kinetic lattice gas model is presented that includes adsorption and desorption channels due to intrinsic and extrinsic precursors in the presence of lateral interactions. The importance of detailed balance is emphasized in setting up the microscopic transition probabilities in the master equation.
