Abstract
In this paper the influence of C60 geometry on low-energy elastic scattering and attachment of free electrons is studied. Strong resonances in the total capture cross sections are found for energies corresponding to negative-ion resonances. The resonance structure is shown to be very sensitive to the actual geometry of the molecular core, the icosahedral symmetry of which is completely taken into account.
