Abstract
PubMan is a repository software which is being developed and made available by Max Planck Digital Library (MPDL). It supports research organizations managing, disseminating and re-using publications and supplementary materials. This solution addresses all disciplines and focuses on the target groups researchers, local librarians and local IT. Due to the heterogeneous policies, cultures and workflows of the Max Planck Institutes, customization and configuration options throughout the solution features are of major importance. Being open source, it is freely available to interested persons or institutions all around the world.

MPG.PuRe, the institutional repository of the MPG, is using PubMan as underlying software.
