Abstract
In the examination of radioactive fall-out the phenomenon of the radioactive particles has recently attracted growing attention. It has become evident that a considerable part of the artificial radioactivity in the atmosphere, caused by atomic explosions, is found in the form of finest ‘dust’ particles. These may be inhaled or ingested and possibly cause radiation damage.
