要旨
The disproportionation of ethylbenzene was studied over the large pore zeolite catalysts LaNaY, LaNaEMT, HL and HBeta, and over a zeolite with unknown pore structure, viz. HMCM-22. It was found that the time-on-stream behavior of ethylbenzene conversion and of the selectivities for the individual diethylbenzene isomers strongly depend on the pore geometry and on the strength and density of the acid sites in the zeolite. From its behavior in ethylbenzene disproportionation, conclusions on the effective pore width of zeolite HMCM-22 could be drawn.
