Abstract
The first issue of the Journal of Proteome Research (JPR) was published in February 2002 with eight research articles. In the 20 years since that first issue, the field of proteomics has undergone remarkable growth. We were curious what the intrepid inaugural authors have been up to since publishing those manuscripts, so we asked them.
