Abstract
The effect of fast electron irradiation induced disorder on the high Tc (≈8 K) superconducting transition in β - (BEDT-TTF)2I3, and on the metal -semiconductor transition at Tp = 137 K in α - (BEDT-TTF)2I3 was studied by resistivity measurements. Defects suppress both transitions at a rate of dTc/dc ≈ - 40 K/ %.
