Abstract
Diamond nanothreads are a new type of low-dimensional sp3-bonded carbon nanostructure combining high strength, flexibility, and resilience. In this preview, we highlight a recent example of diamond nanothreads with long-range intrathread order based on reaction selectivity and stacking order of the reactant molecules.
