Abstract
We present inelastic neutron scattering data on optimally doped
Tl2Ba2CuO6+delta (T-c = 92 K), a single-layer copper oxide with
undistorted copper oxide planes. The data indicate a magnetic
resonant mode below T-c, as previously observed in
YBa2Cu3O6+delta and Bi2Sr2CaCu2O8+delta. The mode is thus a
generic feature of the copper oxide superconductors. (C) 2002
