Abstract
By PCR method, apophycoeryt hrocyanin operon F-gene (p ecF) of Mastigocladus laninosus was amplified from its genom icDNA, and then cloned in pBlue-script. The pecF gene was subcloned into the expression vector pGEM D, and then transformed into E. coli BL 21 (DE3) . After induction, a new protein of molecular weight 22. 5k Da existing in inclusion body was overexpressed. The expression product was confirmed to possess phycoerythrocyanin lyase activity.
