Abstract
The panel data set presents social housing rates (percentage social housing units per housing stock) for 48 countries starting with the first housing legislation up to the current day for benchmark years of national housing censuses. The definition is quite country-specific which is why a long documentation accompanies the data. This data set is an updated and enriched version of the one underlying the journal publication.
