Abstract
A report of the facile separation of C(2)-C(82)(3) fullerene is given, which has resulted in the isolation of isomerically pure C(82)(3) on a preparative scale, avoiding time consuming recycling procedures. By single-crystal X-ray analysis of C(82)(3)center dot Ni(OEP) (Nickel octaethylporphyrine) the first crystal structure containing pristine C(82)(3) has been revealed.
