Abstract
Single crystals of Cu(C(6)H(4)NO(2))(C(6)H(5)NO(2))(H(2)O)(2)[Mo(2)O(6)](n) were grown hydrothermally and characterized by X-ray diffraction and elemental analysis. This compound shows a new (1)(infinity){Mo(2)O(8)}(4-) infinite polymer chain, which is connected via copper(1) nicotinate subunits, forming an overall 3D network.
