Abstract
In the photoluminescence excitation spectra of two-dimensional valence holes with large spin gap and strong disorder we find evidence for quantum Hall ferromagnetism and small skyrmions around the Landau level filling factor v = 1. This interpretation is supported by numerical calculations.
