Abstract
Background: Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer (CEST) imag- ing utilizes the proton exchange behaviour of metabolites for pH-de- pendent contrasts offering insights into the metabolic state of paren- chyma. This study aims to quantify acidity changes in acute ischemic stroke (AIS) at 7T to further reveal pathophysiological processes & possibly aid outcome prediction.
