Abstract
This booklet, originally published on paper
for native speakers, is the first step toward
a dictionary of the Mixtec language as spoken
in Alacatlatzala, in the municipio of
Malinaltepec, Guerrero. The verbs of motion
and transport were chosen for study because
this set of verbs exhibits varied and
interesting forms whose usage is distinct from
the corresponding verbs in Spanish. Included
are illustrative sentences, a Spanish-Mixtec
section, and brief notes about the orthography
and grammar.
