Abstract
In situ X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy and in situ Prompt Gamma Activation Analysis have been applied to understand mechanistic details of heterogeneous catalytic hydrogenation over palladium-based materials. The basics of the above techniques as well as the main results and their consequences will be detailed in the presentation.
