要旨
There is no one type of human family. Across the world, societies differ in who men and women are permitted and encouraged to marry, what arrangements are made between the families of the bride and groom, where newlyweds set up their home, and how children are integrated into part of a wider family through inheritance. Our talk takes a cultural evolutionary approach to address the issue of cross-cultural diversity in human family systems.
