Zusammenfassung
In the present PhD work nanoparticular Cu/ZrO2-based solid catalysts were prepared using three different methods: exoemplating by activated carbon, microemulsion technique and impregnation of silica-monoliths, and characterized with XRD, N2-sorption, TPR, SEM, TEM und in-situ XAS. The materials were tested in a high-throughput test unit for the methanol synthesis activity.
Metalorganyl-stabilized copper colloids were prepared as model catalysts and were
characterized extensively (TEM/HRTEM, UV/vis, ATR-IR, in-situ EXAFS/ XANES). A
semi-automated test unit for methanol synthesis in liquid phase was built.
Copper colloids exhibited very high methanol synthesis activities in absence of Zn-species, whereas an altered reaction pathway involving methyl formate as an
intermediate was observed. Additionally copper colloids were supported on CMK-
supports and tested for their catalytic activity in gas phase.
