Abstract

Viele politische Kommentatoren glauben, die Migration würde zurückgehen, wenn Wohlstandsunterschiede abnähmen. Doch das Gegenteil trifft zu: Wachsender Wohlstand in Zeiten der Globalisierung fördert die Migration. Daher ist Migrationsverhinderung als Marktausschluss letztlich für alle zu teuer.
