 Abstract: We develop a differentiable physics approach for adaptive optics in fluorescence microscopy. Image formation in the microscope is described using a vectorial Debye-Wolf model. Unknown sample aberrations are found and corrected by adjusting model parameters using gradient-based optimisation and only a small number of aberrated images.
