Abstract

Das Problem der intrazellulären Regulation der Aktivität des Muskels läßt sich heute mit folgenden drei Fragen umreißen: 1. Warum spaltet das kontraktile Protein des Muskels im Zustand der Ruhe oder Erschlaffung kein Adenosintriphosphat (ATP)? 2. Wie erfolgt der plötzliche Übergang aus dem Zustand der Ruhe in den Zustand der Aktivität, in dem ATP mit großer Geschwindigkeit umgesetzt wird (Davies, 1963)? 3. Wie wird im Anschluß an die Aktivitätsphase der Ruhezustand wieder hergestellt?
