要旨

Cobalt takes to superacid: By using the superacid system (CF₃)₃BCO and anhydrous HF the title complex (see structure O blue, C black, Co cyan, F red, B light brown) is formed in a one pot reaction of [Co₂(CO)₈]. The oxidizing agent is postulated to be H₂F⁺_solv. which is generated in situ.
